CARE-GIVER

Neuro Education Wellness

According to Johns Hopkins Medicine, “a caregiver is a person who tends to the needs or concerns of a person with short- or long-term limitations due to illness, injury, or disability.”

At-home caregivers are often family members and friends of the person in need of care. These caregivers often help with day-to-day needs, such as dressing, making food, cleaning, and helping with medications.
Caregivers have first-hand knowledge of how their loved one’s day to day goes. This Includes knowing their eating patterns and diet, sleeping rhythms, physical limitations, medications and their overall personality. The caregiver’s role is vital to the well-being of the loved one. Most times the caregiver is not a medical professional (RN or Doctor). This is where Neuro Education Wellness Centre training can better equip the individual in providing and supervising the very best care for their loved one.

CORPORATE TEAM

Entering a helping profession has always been regarded as a “calling.” Those who enter the field do so because they want to help others. Healthcare professionals are among other professions that the public expects and values.

This Corporate training will enhance your ability to provide person-centered care and reduce caregiver stress burnout. The staff will be taken through modules and exercises. THE SEAT OF DEMENITA is the corporate program guide that will allow the team to understand the difficulties and challenges of dementia from the seat of the patient. Technique and strategies to successfully manage the behaviors and agitation that the patient can demonstrate.
